Instructions

Use a sealable plastic bag (affiliate link) to easily shake up a perfect coating on the drumsticks. Toss them in a bowl for a similar result, but shaking the bag is half the fun! Start by preheating the oven to 425F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Pat the drumsticks dry with a paper towel.

In a large plastic bag, place the Lemon Pepper Seasoning and the Baking Powder. Stir the two together.

Place the chicken drumsticks in the bag with the seasoning mixture.

Close up the bag and shake up the bag so that the drumsticks are evenly coated.

Place the drumsticks on the prepared baking tray, evenly spaced.

Spray the coated drumsticks with cooking spray. Place the tray in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.

Take the tray out of the oven. Turn over the drumsticks and spray them again with cooking spray. Return to the oven for 20 minutes.

Substitutions

  • Seasoning - Replace the Lemon Pepper Seasoning with any other type of seasoning mix. This is easy to do since the ratio of baking powder to seasoning is 1:1.

Storage

Store any leftover Lemon Pepper Chicken Drumsticks in an airtight container (affiliate link) and refrigerate for up to 3 days. Place in containers with rice in order to freeze ready to make meals for up to a month.
