    See recipe card for quantities.

    Instructions

Start by preheating the oven to 420F and lining a baking tray with parchment paper.

Someone cutting a sausage in ¼ inch slices.
    1. Cut the sausage rings into straight pieces. Place the pieces in between two wooden chop sticks. Make ¼ inch cuts into the sausage, cutting down to the chopsticks.
Someone cutting a ¾ piece of sausage.
    1. Place the chopsticks aside and cut the scored sausage into ¾ inch pieces. Place all of the pieces into a large bowl and set aside.

        7. Create the dipping sauce by whisking together the reserved ¼ cup of Maple BBQ sauce and any extra sauce from the sausages, with the mayonnaise.

            Substitutions

            • Sausage Rings - Try making this recipe with similar styles of skinny sausage rings like turkey or ham if available in your grocery stores.
            • Sugar Free Syrup - Feel free to use Sugar Free Maple Syrup, to help cut down on the sugar content of this recipe.
            • Greek Yogurt - Replace the mayonnaise in the dipping sauce with Greek yogurt for a different and slightly more nutritious variation.

            Storage

Store any (unlikely) leftover Maple BBQ Hasselback Kielbasa Bites, into an airtight container. Place in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

            Notes

            Kielbasa Sausage Rings:
Please make sure to buy the rings where the sausages are around 1 inch in thickness. This recipe will now work if you use the larger garlic sausages which are over 2 inches in thickness.
