- Pierogies
- Cooked Chicken (shredded or cubed)
- Alfredo Sauce
- Ranch Dressing
- Bacon Bits
- Green Onions
- Shredded Cheese
- Panko Crumbs

How to make Crack Chicken Pierogi Casserole
Preheat your oven to 350F with a rack in the middle position. You will need, either a small baking dish, or a glass (or ceramic) 9-inch pie plate. Spray it with non-stick spray.

Place the cubed chicken in a large bowl. Add the bacon, green onions, ranch dressing, and alfredo sauce. Stir to combine.

Continue by stirring in 1 cup of the shredded cheese, and the pierogies with the chicken mixture.

Place all of the chicken and pierogi mixture into your prepared 9-inch pie plate or baking dish.

Top the dish with the remaining ½ cup of shredded cheese and the panko crumbs. Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes.
Hint: Using a wider baking dish will naturally spread out the Crack Chicken Pierogi Casserole mixture and result in a crispier baked texture. If doing so, please be careful about the baking time, it would need to be reduced.
Substitutions and Variations
- Ranch - Substitute the Ranch dressing with Caesar dressing.
- Extra Veggies - Add half of a red bell pepper, finely diced.
- Fresh Dill - You could add ¼ cup of freshly chopped dill when stirring everything together.
Storing leftover Pierogi Casserole

Crack Chicken Pierogi Casserole
Ingredients
- 450 grams Frozen Pierogies thawed (about 15 of them)
- 1½ cup Cooked Chicken cubed or shredded
- ¾ cup Cooked Bacon Bits
- ¼ cup Green Onion finely chopped
- ¾ cup Alfredo Sauce
- ½ cup Ranch Dressing
- 1½ cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese divided
- ¼ cup Panko Crumbs
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350F with a rack in the middle position. To bake the dish you will need a 10-inch x 8-inch baking dish, or a 9-inch pie plate made out of ceramic or glass.
- Combine in a large bowl, the cooked chicken, bacon bits, ¾ cup of the shredded cheese, and green onion.
- Pour the ranch dressing and the alfredo sauce in the bowl with the other ingredients. Stir everything to combine evenly. Proceed by folding in the thawed pierogies.
- Grease your baking dish and pour the pierogi mixture into it. Smooth out the top and sprinkle the top with the remaining ¾ cup of cheese and the panko crumbs.
- Place the dish in your preheated oven. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden on top. Take out of the oven and let rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
