Add crushed tomatoes, broth, sweet potatoes, and beans. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a gentle simmer. Cover and cook for 25–30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sweet potatoes are tender.

Stir in apple cider vinegar or lime juice. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Simmer uncovered for 5 minutes if a thicker consistency is desired.
