Heat a large frying pan on medium-high heat. Drizzle the sesame oil in the pan. Add the minced garlic and and green onion to the pan and cook for 30 seconds.
Add the gochujang to the pan and then follow up with the milk. Add only 1 pack of the ramen seasoning and mix everything together until the gochujang is dissolved in the sauce. Bring to a simmer.
Place the the 2 ramen bundles into the sauce. Cook them for a minutes per side, until you can loosen up the noodles. Keep cooking them in the sauce until tender.
Add the grated cheese to the noodles and mix it in.
Serve the cheesy ramen right away with an optional fried egg on top.
