Combine, in a medium bowl, the milk, eggs, and vanilla. Whisk until smooth and well combined.
Heat up an electric griddle to 350F, or a non-stick pan to medium heat. Brush the griddle with butter once at temperature.
Dip the bread slices, one at a time, into the egg mixture. Make sure it has soaked as much mixture as it can and remove it from the bowl, letting any excess egg mixture drip out.
Place the soaked bread slices on the hot griddle or pan. Sprinkle the top of the slices with cinnamon. Let the French toast cook for 3-4 minutes or until golden on the one side.
Use a flat spatula to flip the Cinnamon Vanilla French Toast and cook for another 3-4 minutes or until golden.
Remove the cooked French toast from the griddle or pan. Serve right away with fresh fruit, whipping cream, maple syrup and/or your favorite toppings.
