Pasta is one of the most versatile element to cook with. Once cooked, it can be served hot or cold, savory and sweet. With its multitude of shapes and sizes, it can be added to so many dishes like; salads, soups, and casseroles. The most popular pastas include but are certainly not limited to;
- Spaghetti
- Penne
- Ravioli
- Macaroni
- Gnocchi
- Linguine
- Bow Tie
Short pastas - like Bow Tie or Macaroni, are better suited for casseroles and soups, which contains other ingredients like vegetables and meat which are cut around the same size.
Longer pastas - like spaghetti or linguine, are usually added to simpler sauce without too many larger added ingredients.
Soup pastas - like Orzo or Orecchiette, are a lot smaller are perfect to add to soups.
