Instructions
Start by bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add in a tablespoon of salt to the water and then cook the pasta as directed on the box. When cooked, drain them and reserve in a bowl.
Cooking the Meat
For the meat mixture, cook the ground beef in a large skillet on medium-high heat. When almost cooked, add the onion and garlic.
Cook until the onions are translucent and the meat fully cooked. Remove the meat mixture from the skillet and into a clean bowl.
Making the Sauce
In the emptied skillet on medium heat, melt down the butter. Add the flour and the tomato paste to the melted butter and whisk until a smooth paste form. Cook it for a minute.
Deglaze the skillet by adding the beef broth to the tomato slurry. Whisk until a smooth sauce forms and starts to simmer. Add the cream to the sauce and whisk to combine.
Add the ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce to the sauce and stir them in. Let the sauce simmer for 3-4 minutes while stirring to keep it smooth.
Assembling the Dish
Take the sauce off of the heat. Add the cooked ground beef mixture and the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sauce. Fold everything together until well covered in the sauce.
Add the grated cheese to the skillet and stir until it just starts to melt. Serve hot and enjoy!
